Bonkers Candy

Bonkers Candy hit shelves in the 1980s as a soft, fruit filled chew similar in texture to Starburst, but it's remembered almost as much for its commercials as its flavor. The ads featured people getting comically "bonked" on the head with oversized pieces of fruit right before eating the candy. Ross Confectionery Products discontinued the line by the early 1990s, and it never returned to the market in any form.
