Braceface

Braceface aired on Toon Disney from 2001 to 2005, a Canadian American animated comedy following a teenage girl named Sharon Spitz whose metal braces mysteriously pick up radio signals, adding an odd sci fi twist to an otherwise grounded coming of age story. The show didn't shy away from candid teen body image humor, which set it apart from more sanitized competitors. It ran for four seasons before wrapping up in the mid 2000s.
