Crunch Tators

Frito-Lay sold Crunch Tators from the late 1980s into the mid nineties, extra thick potato chips available in bold flavors like Hoppin' Jalapeño and Mighty Mesquite BBQ. The chips even made a brief cameo appearance in the 1990 film Home Alone. Frito-Lay eventually discontinued the line as the company's snack chip portfolio shifted toward its more established flagship brands.
