Crystal Pepsi

Crystal Pepsi launched in 1992 as a clear, caffeine free cola built around the early nineties idea that clear products felt cleaner and healthier than their tinted counterparts. It tasted almost exactly like regular Pepsi, which confused as many people as it delighted, and Pepsi discontinued it by 1994 after sales cooled. The soda became such a cult symbol of nineties nostalgia that Pepsi brought it back for a short run in 2015 and 2016.
