Eerie, Indiana

Eerie, Indiana

Eerie, Indiana aired on NBC from 1991 to 1992 before gaining a much wider cult following through later reruns on Disney Channel and Fox Kids, a horror fantasy series created by Karl Schaefer and José Rivera with Joe Dante serving as creative consultant. It followed thirteen year old Marshall Teller, newly relocated from New Jersey, as he documented strange paranormal occurrences hiding beneath the surface of his seemingly ordinary new town, whose population was famously pegged at exactly 16,661. The original run only lasted nineteen episodes, but its rerun life introduced it to a much larger audience and eventually led to a 1998 spinoff series.
