Fighting Foodons aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami block in 2001, a Japanese anime built around food that transforms into battling warrior creatures, based on a Japanese trading card game. It only ran for a single season before being pulled from the schedule, making it one of the more obscure and quickly forgotten entries in Toonami's early 2000s anime lineup.
