General Mills introduced French Toast Crunch in 1995, shaping the cereal pieces like tiny slices of French toast and coating them in a maple and cinnamon flavor. It built a loyal following through the late nineties before quietly disappearing from shelves in 2006. A Facebook campaign organized by fans eventually convinced General Mills to bring it back in 2014, making it one of the more successful cereal revival stories of the decade.
