Coca-Cola and Minute Maid launched Fruitopia in 1994, packaging fruit juice drinks with deliberately trippy, tie dye inspired branding and flavor names like Strawberry Passion Awareness. The line was clearly aimed at teenagers who'd grown up on nineties alternative culture, and it built a loyal following through the middle of the decade. Coca-Cola scaled it back significantly by 2003, and while it never fully vanished everywhere, it disappeared from most mainstream U.S. shelves.
