Little Bear

Little Bear ran on Nick Jr. from 1995 to 2003, an animated adaptation of Else Holmelund Minarik's classic picture books following a gentle young bear and his friends Duck, Cat, and Owl through quiet, low key adventures in the woods. Its slower pace and soft watercolor style set it apart from flashier competing cartoons of the era. It became one of the defining shows of Nick Jr.'s late nineties and early 2000s programming stretch.
