McDonald's McDLT

McDonald's sold the McDLT from 1984 to 1991, a burger served in an unusual two chamber Styrofoam container designed to keep, as the ads famously put it, "the hot side hot and the cool side cool," with a young Jason Alexander starring in the commercials before his Seinfeld fame. McDonald's discontinued the sandwich in 1991 as environmental backlash against polystyrene packaging grew, forcing the chain to phase out foam containers across its menu.
