McDonaldland Cookies

McDonald's sold McDonaldland Cookies from the mid 1970s until 2003, boxed animal cracker style cookies embossed with characters like Ronald McDonald, Grimace, and the Hamburglar, baked for the chain by Keebler and packaged in a box with a pop up carrying handle. McDonald's discontinued them in the early 2000s as the company responded to growing concern over childhood obesity, replacing them in Happy Meals with apple slices.
