Nintendo Cereal System

Ralston released the Nintendo Cereal System in 1988, packaging two cereals in a single box, one themed around Super Mario Bros. and the other around The Legend of Zelda, each with its own distinct shape and flavor. It only lasted a single year on shelves before being discontinued, which is part of why unopened boxes now sell for hundreds of dollars at collector auctions. It remains one of the most sought after pieces of vintage cereal memorabilia tied to classic Nintendo franchises.
