OK Soda

OK Soda

Coca-Cola launched OK Soda in 1993 as a deliberately weird, anti-marketing experiment aimed at Generation X, complete with deadpan can copy and artwork from alternative comic artists like Daniel Clowes. The soda itself was a fairly ordinary citrus flavored drink, but the branding leaned so hard into irony that many buyers weren't sure if the whole thing was a joke. Coca-Cola discontinued it in 1995 after the campaign failed to connect with the audience it was chasing.
