Oompas

Oompas were a fruit flavored chewy candy sold by the Willy Wonka Candy Company in the 1990s, similar in format to Skittles but with a noticeably softer bite. The name was an obvious nod to the Oompa Loompas from the Willy Wonka films, tying it into the brand's larger candy universe. It never reached the popularity of Wonka's flagship products like Nerds and Runts, and it was discontinued as the company narrowed its lineup.
