Runts (original shapes)

The original Willy Wonka Runts lineup from the 1980s included fruit shapes that are no longer part of the current formula, most notably a banana flavored piece that longtime fans either loved or genuinely hated. That banana flavor became something of a running joke among people who grew up eating the candy, since it tasted noticeably more artificial than the other fruit flavors in the mix. Wonka has since reformulated the shape and flavor lineup more than once, phasing out several of the original pieces.
