Space Cases

Space Cases aired on Nickelodeon from 1996 to 1997, following a group of students who get accidentally stranded aboard a sentient, semi intelligent spaceship called the Christa after their school trip goes wrong. The series leaned into genuine serialized science fiction storytelling rather than the episodic format most kids' shows relied on at the time. It only lasted a season and a half, which has made it a fairly obscure entry even among people who grew up watching Nickelodeon's SNICK lineup.
