Square One Television

Square One Television aired on PBS from 1987 to 1992, a math focused sketch comedy series built around genre parodies like "Mathnet," a direct spoof of the crime drama Dragnet, and "General Mathpital," a hospital drama parody. Its clever, format spanning approach to teaching math concepts made it one of the more creatively ambitious educational shows PBS produced during that era. It ran for five seasons before concluding in the early nineties.
