Surge

Surge hit store shelves in 1997 as Coca-Cola's answer to Mountain Dew, a neon green citrus soda loaded with sugar and caffeine and sold under the tagline "Feed the Rush." Skateboarders and gamers latched onto it almost instantly, and for a few years it felt like the official drink of extreme sports marketing. Coca-Cola pulled it from shelves in 2003, though a grassroots fan campaign convinced the company to bring it back in limited runs starting in 2014.
