The Tick

The Tick aired on Fox Kids from 1994 to 1997, an animated superhero parody following an enormous, blue, nearly invulnerable hero named simply The Tick and his anxious sidekick Arthur as they bumbled their way through fighting crime. Its absurdist humor and genuine affection for superhero tropes made it a cult favorite that outlasted many of its more straightforward action cartoon contemporaries. It ran for three seasons and later inspired multiple live action adaptations.
