Wackos Candy was a chewy, fruit flavored competitor to Skittles and Bonkers that circulated through convenience stores in the 1980s and into the 1990s. It never built the brand recognition of its bigger rivals, which is part of why so few people who ate it as kids can recall the name today. It disappeared from shelves without much fanfare, leaving almost no trace in candy retrospectives outside of dedicated collector forums.
